I find it interesting how you say spacers are garbage and then on another thread you recommend them for use wit the ome kit.

I think you have to add a spacer to the OME kit to get a full 3" of lift.

The spacer for the OME kit is only 1/4" thick. It is used to take it to a full 3". It has minimal impact on the suspension geometry. When you try to accomplish the entire lift with spacers, that's where the problems start.

I'm not saying it's the worst thing in the world, but i'd like to point out that every thread that asks about the quality of the pro comp kit, the only people who defend it are the ones who own it.

I've seen multiple posts of people who used to own it who say it rides rough. I'm just giving the OP a heads up that if he wants a smoother ride,, look elsewhere.

Not trying to offend you guys.

Maybe I should have said "the only ones who defend it are the ones who CURRENTLY own it"

The guys on here who have the procomp lift have trucks that look pretty sweet.

I, myself, didn't want that much lift. I've had procomp stuff on other trucks and it was fine, and I am currently looking at getting some of their wheels if I can find a good price.

 All I did was point out that the shocks are twin-tube, and I've read many of the procomp threads where folks who have this lift say it rides fairly stiff. I would attribute that to the twin-tube shocks, which are less effective at dampening than mono-tube.

I have never ridden in a truck with this lift so I can't say from personal experience. If you have it and like it, then .

It's not like I came in here and said "ProCrap sucks, enough said". I brought the factz yo.
