I've done a mod or two
Well TacomaWorld, it breaks my heart... but you know the saying "if you love something, let it go"? That's what I must do. Moving out of state has forced my hand here and it's time I part ways with my trusty Tacoma. Some of you have seen it I'm sure in the background of a few trip reports and builds courtesy of @Blackdawg, @m3bassman, and @turbodb but you may not have heard the entire story of this truck.

I bought this truck as a replacement for my last truck, as I swapped pieces from that truck over to this one I got the opportunity to refresh much of this 23 year old Tacoma to make it the ideal platform to have a great adventure vehicle. It is as mechanically solid as they come, I'd hop in this Tacoma right now and drive it to New York and back with no hesitation. Every bit of maintenance has been done to keep the 3RZ happy and healthy including valve adjustments, fuel filter, plugs/wires/dizzy, vacuum lines, and even injector seals. Much of the suspension and steering has been rebuilt and replaced with superior parts in the past few years. The interior has been cleaned after every trip and is free of bad smells, I'm not a smoker and have no pets. There are some stains on the carpet in the rear area from cleaning product spills unfortunately, but nothing too awful. The body is solid, but it does have a couple dings and dents as most well used trucks do. The most notable of which is right behind the drivers door on the cab and bed edges. It starts easy and runs like a top. This truck is ready for its next owner to take it on fun adventures. I have done so much to this truck over the years there is a 100% chance I am forgetting some things here and there but if you have any questions feel free to ask and I will be more than happy to answer them, this truck's experience speaks for itself and it nor I have anything to hide :)

I've tried to list out as much as I can about what has been done to the vehicle below, but feel free to ask if anything is unclear. The truck will come with lots of spare parts (everything from airboxes to interior parts to suspension parts as well as CV axles). I am a bit of a parts hoarder and liked to have projects lined up to work on when I had downtime.

GLWS, I hope this doesn’t mean we’re going to lose your technical expertise in the 1st Gen forum. It’s always appreciated.

Wife and I moved down here from Mount Vernon, WA about 2 years ago for a really good job for her. I do miss the ocean and Cascades though.
