    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Was at my local Sams Club yesterday. They have a mini Maglite and 3D Maglite combo for 14.99 (it was always 20 when I looked).

Anyhoo - It comes with batteries, and the mounting clips. Good deal...

    I bought 2 of them. :D

maglites are over rated IMO. I had one in my jeep, always got wet. I always changed the batterys in it so they wouldnt corrode and cause harm. Well the fawkin thing stopped working a whileback. I replaced it with an $8 2for1 combo at my local swap meet. Its worked great ever since.

I beg to differ. I have multiple MagLites and have never had problems with them. I've had them for over 20 years, with the original bulb to boot. Still have the relplacement bulbs in the end caps.

The only issue I have is, boy do they get cold as hell in the winter time.

agreed on the winter thing, used it the other night, and the light paired with the wind made for an unpleasant combo.

I've put them thru stuff that no flashlight had any right surviving. My first one was run over in the mud with a duce and a half , dropped into 10' ft of water in echo lake while night fishing (Thankfully it was on, I swam for it!) and abused for years. It was stolen when my car was broken into. Sounds like you had a defective one. Maglight would have replaced it if you told them about it.

My great uncle, granfathers brother, was in his 80's and a guy opened the passengerdoor of his car while at an intersection, no, he didnnt have e-locks on the door, it was an old Falcon, he reached over grabbed his mag light and CRACKED the dude across his forhead. He drove home, safe. The light didn't work, but he DROVE HOME ALIVE

Broken and scratched tailgate, cracked rear tail light lens, coffee stain in driver seat.
I bought that combo a couple of months ago, so far so good. There are other lights that are better, but mine serves me well, plus I just root for the owner, he went through a nasty divorce and gave up all his millions, cars, houses, everything except the company and started from scratch again. F that B*tch

Send any non working mag in for service I think it is free except for postage. We had a mag that was buried for a year and wouldn't open they replaced it for free.

When I was 10 or so, a buddy's dad took us camping, and one knight around the fire, 2 tripple k dude's came over, started talking and pushing my friends dad around, and like a movie he pulled the maglight out of his back pocket hit the first guy accoss the cheek and the second one on the top of the head. After the ranger gave the lamp back to us it worked great.
