San Diego BS Thread.

The phone doesn't freeze up. It just won't send texts or make phone calls until I turn it off and back on. Sometimes it requires a battery pull.

 

Hard reset time

Reset instructions for DROID X on 2.3 Gingerbread Android:

1. Turn off phone
2. Press and hold Power key + Home hard key to power on the phone and bring up a triangle with an exclamation point inside next to a green Android graphic.
3. Press both Volume buttons down together to show the Android recovery menu.
4. Use volume buttons to scroll up or down in this menu. Highlight "wipe data/factory reset"
5. Tap Power button hard key to confirm the selection.
6. Handset will ask you to "Confirm wipe of all user data"
7. Select "Yes -- delete all user data"
8. Tap Power button hard key to confirm the selection and start wipeout of phone, handset will begin to format handset showing progress with multiple lines of ellipses (....)
9. Handset may take from 5-20 minutes to format.
10. When format is complete, Tap Power button when prompted to reboot (Reboot system now will be highlighted)
11. You will see either an open box and the green android graphic when handset is rebooting (or the red DROID eye graphic).
12. Handset will be cleared of previous personal data, and you will need to start over with initial set-up process.

 

Damn...I didn't want to have to do that but I guess it's worth a shot. I really don't want to trade in this phone for one of those crap refurbished ones. I hear those things suck.

 

Yeah not a fan of refurbs as they were previous phones that had issues!

This would be your last resort before doing that though.

What kinda of replacement would you suggest for the JBL Toyota stock SUB? i really don't want to have to pay to put in an entire new sub and box and everything, would jsut buying a new sub that fit's in the stock slot be cool?

 

U can put another sub in the slot but the stock box is too shallow to get any bass out of it might as well keep the factory one but there is a box that fits being the seat to put 2 10s in and hit good. If u stick with the factory box a kicker cvt is good and shallow and would work good and not very expensive
