EDIT: I've since discovered the Santiam Pass OHV which is basically between HWY 20 and Big Lake. Has anyone been here, and are there trails that would be okay for an all-stock TRD Sport 4x4 (who doesn't want pinstripes)? Thank you!

Will be doing some camping at Big Lake next weekend and would love to take the Tacoma down some fun and easy off road trails. Any recommendations out there?

I'm all-stock on the suspension and with two little boys so easy dirt and gravel is the goal.

    Thank you!

Buy a forestry map and locate some FS roads and explore... That’s what I do if I’m not familiar with an area.

Holcomb Valley (3N16) is a good one. The trail runs from Green Valley lake in the west to Doble/Baldwin Lake in the East.

Nice and long, mostly flat, fire/dirt road.

As mentioned 3N16 is a very easy dirt road !!!! , another is the Coxey rd trail 3N14 that starts down in the Desert and ends in Big Bear

Thanks you guys. I think you're referring to Big Bear Lake in CA? I'm talking about "Big Lake" in Oregon; near Black Butte & Sisters.
