    I traded a 2015 Colorado for a new 2017 Tacoma DC offroad.
Only have Tacoma 1 day, but so far so good.
Colorado's not perfect either, there are some issues out there. One thing I think is really bad from Toyota is that they let Trucks come through with low trans fluid, that should not happen....Especially since there is no dip stick to check it yourself. I had Dealership check all fluids on mine before I took truck, everything was full.
These Tacoma's sell quickly in my area, I looked at several and went back within a day or so, they were sold.

Some of the problems are so small and nit picky and over blown. You may not even notice or not have it at all which is the case for most.

Ford Ranger will likely be my next truck. My last Ranger was bulletproof for 160k miles never a single problem. Even the battery lasted 8 years....and the new ones are going to come with some pretty awesome powertrain options. More configurations offered than the Tacoma too. As long as it doesn't look like the Colorado or Ridgeline. I actually like the look of the Canyon too.

I might would consider a ranger someday but it would be hard for me to leave the tacoma behind. I don"t think Ford at this time knows what powertrain they will go with.

I wonder what the residuals will be on the rangers. I've basically decided I love new vehicles so I will probably continue leasing every three years. New wrangler truck is at the top of my list. Ranger and frontier may be options. Or another taco.

After wheeling mine for the first time I'm very satisfied with it. Crawl control is the shit.

You will have 90% fewer issues and concerns by using one little trick. Stay the F out of this forum.

Love my taco! It's got me through 20inches of snow and ~20 4x4 trails in the mountains here in Colorado. I have the manual transmission so I don't have the same complaints much of my other auto transmission brethren have.

I've had mine since March as well. It is my daily driver and I love it. I've had a few minor things fixed but that is what a warranty is for. Find a dealer that will let you take a long test drive.

From a 2003 Nissan Sentra Spec-V to a one week old 2017 Tacoma SR5 4x4...I love my Taco! Plenty of power and passing ability with ECT Power enabled, fold down rear seats for more cargo space, nice digital displays to show mpg and fuel efficiency and other screens, EZ down tailgate, SR Dark Satin Wheels (optional wheels),Qi phone charging spot for smartphones, wheel controls for hud and radio, etc, this truck fit my needs perfectly. Theres a lot more features that I wouldn't of expected
