Thanks for the pic of the filler container. Sounds like the mixing process is the same as bondo but the filler might be easier to use since it's not in a can like bondo is, hopefully won't be as messy. I'll have to give it a shot next time I knock out a Satoshi.

yeah, i hear ya. it's a high price to simply use it as mesh, but it's solid and high quality. i've seen some other meshes that are too thin and show everything behind it in the sunlight. didn't want that.

DAMN! You just changed the game! I was actually planning the same method. I was drawing it up last night. BUT I was going to use different plastic. It never dawned on me to reuse the cut out portion of the grille. It's awesome to see that doing it this way works. I took a vow a long time ago to never mess with fiberglass again. Work smarter, not harder. Very nice work! +1

you got it. start with a small pilot hole then bore it out to the right size so that your zip tie just fits through. make sure you drill deep enough in (that's what she said!) so that it won't break through when you cinch up the zip tie tight.

i drilled more than necessary. haven't decided if i'll patch 'em up or add more zip ties. all you really need are 4 along the top (to support the weight of the gc), 1 on each side, and 2 on the bottom
