I want to do this mod also and run hella lights behind it. Is there enough room for the lights if I follow this thread or would I need to cut more of the lip off? I really like the way it sits from OP. hoping lights will fit just fine behind it. prob hella 500 or 700.

i know this is late not sure if anyone is still looking at this but I'm going to be making one pretty soon, i read almost all of the posts but i will follow it step by step when i have everything. should i use the combo of bondo and fiberglass? or just bondo? I'm only going to do the middle part of my grille.

Wow, that last photo is insane. I....want....it. But here I am slowly making my way through the mod-world!

[IMG] I spent the past few days working on it. The bondo and fiberglass were not my forte by any means. But I'm happy with how it came out. I might revisit it and touch up, but for now it should look good unless they stop to inspect it.

Here it is hanging up to dry tonight. I'll put it on tomorrow. I'd like to put in the metal letters Tacoma across the grill. any suggestions? I heard EGM (fabrication?) does it.

Thank you my bondo experience wasn't the best but I did tbe best I could. It's not perfect but I like it. For the you can get them from east coast grille fabrication. That's where mine are from. I used 3m double sided tape and centered it as best I could. I'm not sure about uploading pictures I do it from my phone, there should be a upload file button then select the photo you want I'm not sure how you don't multiple photos at once

It's pretty much the same process my buddy is doing one for his. You just have to buy the mesh and letters if you want. I still have to cut it out to fit mine
