Say it with 7 starts tomorrow (Texas Custom License Plates)

So the State of Texas for the first time ever will allow 7 character license plates starting tomorrow at 7 am and for only 7 days. There are 20 designs to choose from and there will be one space or symbol allowed in the combination.

Is anyone planning on getting one for their Taco? If so which design and what will it say?

There is also a 5 payment layaway plan if done by phone order. You'll have 4 months to pay it off in equal payments. I'm going to order "BERT HDZ" with the state symbol separating my first name and abbreviation for my last name.

Oh and I'll be getting the diamond plate "Texas Tough" design.

A little late for the freedom 7 but still gave me a last minute gift idea for the gf. Gonna get her the lone star blue with the first 3 letters of her name and the date of our anniversary. She drove her camaro for months without the front plate because she didn't like way it looked. Hopefully she will like it.

too bad I would have to drill holes in my front bumper for a second plate. Thats and I would have to do $100 emission checks is the only thing keeping me from registering my truck in Texas.

 

Holy crap those are expensive! I guess that's one way to raise some revenue.

Took them a long time! California went to 7 in 1980... My plates were THE BAJA on my 1980 Subaru 4WD Wagon!
