    '17 DC TRD Off Road MT
    Yep - new guy here. I've got a 2000 4-cyl 4x4 Regular cab which I bought new that's in the process of being bought back by Toyota for the frame rot recall. I'm sad to be losing my good friend, but excited about the opportunity to get a new one. Here's what I'm looking for:

    4x4 Access Cab V6 manual
    SR5 #2
    Tow Package
    Alloy wheels

    I'd love to hear opinions on what you guys and gals would do differently if you had to buy your Taco over again - is the Tow package worth it? Are the stock alloy wheels worth it or is it better to just get aftermarket ones? Is the TRD upgrade a good value or (other than the locker) can I get better stuff aftermarket for around the same price (or less)?

    I realize all this stuff is personal preference, and I'm not holing anyone's opinion responsible for my purchase decisions :) But I would like to hear about everyone's experience with their new Tacomas and maybe I'll make a better choice when I pull the trigger on my new ride.
