Save your $$ maint nightmare. Get a decent truck, build the lightest buggy you can afford and tow. Trust me i have a heavy PIG (TLC), thats just needs regear/lockers and new tires. Then it would walk most of Tellico, NC. Hell a TLC followed buggies in Tellico, NC, just needed some sheet metal work and some ballz.

Where's a good place to get a front end alignment done that doesn't cost 100 buck?

i'd suggest a lifetime alignment from firestone. costs more initially, but after 2 uses it's paid itself off. used mine over 10 times.

Both! Lol I remember when I had my ranger the one on st James told me they couldn't align my truck because my leaf spring were bad, they said one drooped more than the other one. And wanted me to get new ones for 800 bucks.
