Is paying $450 for non-painted OEM hood w/scoop too much to pay for?

some of this, a little of that
Do you have to pay for shipping on top of that or is that $450 in your hands?

It's priced in hand, no shipping. A co-worker is willing to sell, just curious.

Yea certifit around here is $97 bucks but I was worried about the fit I have heard several horror stories (sortafit) I guess the smart thing to do would buy the certifit and test fit the hood before you have it painted.

Well the guy i know bought it for his '07 Taco but got it totalled. So unfortunately he has to let it go, he mentioned it's an OEM hood w/scooop. I hope it fits cuz it was for his V6 model and I'm installing it for my '06 base model (4x2 access-cab). I think 450 is ok locally, but I wanted other owner's opinion on this.

I've seen them for less. I suppose being in HI makes it a little more difficult to find a killer price though.

Hey I bought my scooped hood off an Ebay store and it came pre painted (I told them my paint code before hand and it matched exactly!) for around $390. Something to think about.

A lot of people like/want the scoop. It's really common on here to see people looking for them, looking for trades, etc...

Personal preference! I have a scoop, I like it and I don't care what other people think. At least its OEM hood with OEM insert not some cheap ass ebay scoop bondoed on my non-scooped hood.
