    I don't know about you guys but mine came with a pair of metal brackets that hold it just fine I've had mine for 2 years and have not had any problems. I to have a pioneer

    My Scosche kit and AVIC-D3 survived 4 years in my last Tacoma, and now it's doing just fine in the current truck. I'll grant you that it seemed a bit flimsy right out of the package, but once it's installed it's good.

    Same here. It fit like a glove and looks factory. I used the stock metal brackets with a pioneer double din and everything worked great.
