I scratched off some paint on one of the front plastic fenders so all u can see is black underneath the paint. Can I repaint the plastic or do I have to order another piece of fender prepainted? Thanks fellas

It can be repainted. Any body shop can repaint it for you, just keep in mind that it's textured plastic, so it might look a little funny if they putty the scratch to fill it. Also, you'll have to pay for new clips, and rubber moulding, as they're destroyed when taking the flare off the fender.

you dont think they would be able to tape around it without having to remove the fender do you? i see why people rid of them and resort to metal bumpers now

Is it the fender flare that you're referring to? If so, it will have to be removed to be painted.
