    Just did a 3” lift on my 2000 4r limited. Tried to put 285s on my factory wheels last night and there’s no way in hell. Can anyone with first hand experience tell me if a 16x8 is wide enough to acommadate that tire? Gunmetal F5’s would look perfect on my truck. Also really want want to avoid wheel spacers

    Brother Anthony, you're gonna wanna check out this thread for fitment. Yes its possible but depends on your truck as well. Bottomline, stay at 4.5BS for the SCS wheel and you wont need spacers.

    Oh yeah, and Gunmetal? Nice choice!! Only real men run Gunmetal cuz men love guns. and metal. :crapstorm::rimshot:

    Here I am on 16X8 and 4.5BS, 275 size, 3" lift. No rubbing. I have a pic from behind too so you can see the stance, about .5" past the fender. The issue you will have is at 3.5BS you will need to start cutting as your tire's "real estate" starts plowing into the fender and pinch welds. Take a run through that thread I pasted here on 285 fitment.

    You might also call Vin at SCS before you order and he can confirm as well. Great guy!!

    Post pics when done!

    PS: Yeah, my wife made me go pick up some damn plants that'll die in about a fucking week. sigh... there goes $400 bucks in mods..

    I just bought 16x8 F5s, and I’m not sure what the backspace is. How does one tell, other than measuring?

    Also, I have 255/85/16 on there, and they are rubbing the cab mount badly, even though I have around 1.5-2” lift. Is that common?

    These are 16x8 with 4.5 backspace if it helps. maybe compare the dish on outside. the 3.5 bs should have more i think.im running 1 1/2 - 2 lift with 265/75R16 and no rub.

    Chad’s are 17x9, so they have an extra inch to go deeper.

    I bought them with almost new 255/85/16 Maxx already on there, and that was the tire I wanted anyway.
