My seat belt locked and wouldn't come back out, so I took the paneling off and took the seat belt mechanism apart and un-locked it. The problem is now that I can actually buckle my seat belt it wont lock if I turn sharp or get in an accident...

Me and my friend are planning on going to our local pick and pull tomorrow to see if there are any toyota trucks that have seat belts in them.

Are there any quick fix things I should know before I replace my seat belt?
