With respect to the 2016s, I have driven a SR, and I have sat in an SR5. It seems to me that the padding in the 2016 is subpar when compared to the 2015 at least in these lower trim levels. I realize that this is a subject assessment, but I would appreciate hearing from others as to their impressions.

    Thanks

I can't speak for the standard seats but the upgraded seats are fantastic.

By 'upgraded' are you referring to the TRD(s) and/or Limited?

    Thanks

I love the TRD seats. The OR I sat in was so comfortable I dropped the dealer leather upgrade from my Sport.

Interesting, I though each trim had the same seat just different stitching/fabric.

Me too. Drove a SR the other day and wasn't really impressed. Looking forward to driving the Sport now.

I know everyone has a unique anatomy, but I always found the seats in my 2005 trd to be very confortable, and I have serious back issues and am 6 feet tall. I just don't get all the hate and negative reviews.

No issues in the 16 Dbl Cab Sport I test drove yesterday. It was quite comfortable and easy to adjust. I'm 5-11, 170 lbs. I would say not as cushy as my 10 was, but I also had Wet Okole seat covers on it.
