This might be a stupid question but i am going to ask any way , I want to remove my front seats to shampoo the carpets,i see electrical wires under the seat,if i unplug them will it set off air bags or do any thing to the computer that will mess it up and have to take it to a dealer to get fixed?

I believe it won't hurt anything unless you turn the key to the on position with the airbag stuff unplugged. You might set a code that way. Not sure if you could clear the code by disconnecting the battery or if that would require a trip to the dealer.

Disconnect your battery first if you have airbags in you seats.
