My 97 has a Mazda 626 power driver's seat. Haven't checked the numbers on the passenger seat, but it appears to match. Only looked it up because the trim on the seat is in need of replacement.

My 1992 Mazda 626 had some comfy ass seats. If I needed to swap out my current buckets I would love to put those in.

I’m just trying to get some factory 1st gen seats. I’ve tried the 3rd gen 4Runner path and just wasn’t thrilled about them.

I'm struggling to find a replacement piece of trim for the electric Mazda seat that was swapped into my taco by a previous owner. So, I'm debating swapping in something a little more luxurious... It'd be fun to put in an electric/heated/leather seat for at least the driver side.

Are there brackets that can adapt the mounting holes in the cab for basically any seat? Wanting to go to a wrecking yard to see what I can find.

Is there something that helps figure out if it can move/lean forward enough to make accessing the rear seats in the xtracab possible?

Yes, Recaro seats are amazing, had them in a 930 Turbo Porsche. Even had speakers in the headrests. I used to sell them so got a break on the price. If you drive a lot and plan on keeping your Tacoma forever would probably be good move in spite of the costs.

I had my 414,000 mile seat recovered and foam replaced in my '96 Tacoma about a month ago and "WOW" what a comfort difference. My upholsterer is amazing.
