I bought my first 2006 Tacoma after a long absence from a tundra!
Anyway, anyone here ever reupholster their seats? It's the base model and the interior is filthy! I just took it in to have it all shampoo'd and after it dried (2 days later) it's a little better but still really bad. I've looked at seat covers but think they are tacky and lose their integrity.
    Thanks!

Look up clazzio seat covers. OEM fitment and look without being charged a arm and a leg.

I had a similar issue when I got my truck, the dealer airbrushed over the deep stains so when it rubbed off a year later I saw all the filth.
As many times i've tried shampooing i couldn't get the stains out (i think oil).
I went and bought 2 cans of this stuff @ autozone along with some white terry cloths.

    https://www.amazon.com/Tuff-Stuff-P...sr=8-1&keywords=automotive+upholstery+cleaner

Spray it on let it foam up (about 30 Seconds) then with the clean side of the towel wipe in one direction, repeat on tough stains. took me 2 hours but my interior looks new, this is what the pros do! Shampooing just pushes the stains further into the fabric/Foam.
**Edit, Get a medium to thick bristled brush too.
