    Haha you wish :p

You know I've mentioned a DC here and there since... well basically since I got my 99' AC :anonymous:
...we both knew this day would come.

The wife and I need something with REALLY low miles, essentially new to last me for years to come... she suggested we just sell her 96' 4Runner and my Tacoma to get a newer 2nd Gen Tacoma... sooo I really didn't hesitate on that one too much

I was joking anyways haha my dbl cab isn't low miles. But it is cherry. I like it haha

Sounds good but it also sounds like a rig that you won't be able to mod much...haha hope it works out!

Yeah... I didn't wanna say it, but that red though.....
Nooo definitely not the mods like I have on my current rig.

Speaking of which... how does your Dad like his 08 DCLB Sport?

The dilemma I'm facing now is deciding between getting a 14 or 15 TRD Off Road DCSB and having the convenience of the rear locking diff, or getting the same year but TRD Sport DCLB and having that extra 13" of truck bed length and losing out on the rear locker & A-Trac.

The only thing that would make all things good is if I added an ARB air locker in the rear WAY down the road, but then again that's a few thousand and who knows how many hours of labor...

    Quick thought?

Yea last thing I'd need is two extended cab 1st gen 5speeds hahaha but I do love my 03. It's green btw ;) dads is the red one...yes..we have three tacomas..and my bro just go a 00 4Runner haha

My dad loves his. But his is special. In 05-08 the sports came with a mechanical lsd. So he has that. And it does work. Better then ATRAC..

Really depends on the needs and requirements you need it to fit. The longer bed is handy for lots of things. And he gets by OFFROAD totally fine. Hell I get by fine with open diffs. I imagine you won't be doing anything super crazy offroad with it anyways so I doubt a locker will be really nessiscary.

The bad part is the long bed is...well...long haha not called a trail limo for nothing. Does make some trail a bit more interesting. But still not impossible.

If the only thing holding you back to a short bed is the locker. Wouldn't worry about it. Go for the long bed if you really want it.

Locker can be added later if you find yourself doing stuff to the truck that requires it. Yea it's not easy. But it's not super hard. If you can't do it yourself it's not cheap but not killer.

Depends on what kind of winch you are wanting to go with, and most importantly what kind of bumper you're wanting to go with?

This will show the space where my winch mounted (where the red hand file case is):

I know it's not great, but maybe I can get under there if you want to snap another pic or two of how it looks now under there... it's tight with my WARN m8000 on this Elite bumper, but other bumper types might be different :notsure:
