Where is the secondary air filter located? I just dropped in a K&N panel, and I'm not sure I need a secondary air filter any more.

    Thanks!

The secondary air filter is mounted into the upper part of the airbox, the part attached to the tube that runs across the top of the motor. It's not really an air filter, it's part of the emissions system and your truck will fail the inspection if it's not installed and intact. Some have removed it with noticeable increase in performance from their 4-cyl, and these people say they can re-attach it with rivets or something before every smog inspection.
