Rivnuts through the bed, a few bolt holes drilled through the case bottom, quick hit with a ratchet. enjoy!

Unless you are a firefighter or are proficient in close quarters tactics, not much reason to.

I wanted to follow up with my final solution. I purchased Roams 105L as it was a good low profile size and opens from the side for easy access. I followed @NYCTaco52 thread for the install. Links to the case, parts and nyctaco52 thread are at the end of the post.

The rails are 24in which allows me to move the box away from the cab if needed and add some tie down brackets to the end of the rail. The rails are mounted with one bolt at the cab end and two on the other.

I installed Roams struts so I could unlatch the lid and let it go rather than having to hold it or open all the way. I riveted in a L bracket and eye bolt to hold a rope to pull the lid closed when accessing from the side and also limit the lid to open at 50% if needed.

    Thanks nyctaco52!

I added a third bed rail to the cab side of the bed. You could very easily fabricate some straight aluminum brackets and attached them to the box, then attach the brackets to the rail using Tnuts.

My above post is the mounted case. I do have the third rail installed and considered mounting to it but went the bed direction. Thank you.
