im kinda looking into a securtiy alarm system and remote start for myself as a xmas present and since i have manual door locks and windows (base model) would a security system like this be pointless unless i get the power door locks and window system or can there be other door lock motors installed?

You can buy aftermarket motors for the locks and motors. The security sys would work without it but to get in you would have to disarm it then open the door with a key. Best thing about it would be the remote start, and starter kill.

The way I would do that is just get one motor for the drivers door and rig that up for your keyless entry. Then you can wire the security system for all doors.

where do you find these motors, how much they run and would the installers buy/install them or would i have to provide it for installation because i wouldn't be able to install this kinda system myself.

There are places that will do these kinds of things for you. I bought my alarm sys over Amazon for a huge discount and had a place install it. But normaly of the installer can't mark up the parts they will charge more for labor. Try viper they are a reputable company.
