Hey guys i have a 06 crf250r that I'm thinking about selling to pay for a 6" lift, new wheels and tires. Wanted to know what you think about this decision. It would take me awhile to save the money back up for a 6" lift...was all set to go but then I decided to sink my truck(look at my sig). That set me back as far as cash. It would take me awhile to save up for this so thats why I'm leaning towards just selling the bike.

As far as the setup I would go with it would be the pro comp or fabtech 6" lift with the new brian deegan pro comp wheels 18x9 or xd monsters 18x9 and 35x12.50 toyo m/t maybe the trail grapplers... not set on those tires being that they are 350 a piece:eek: but you get the idea

I have been planning on selling my bike for a quad. After i got the lift done i would save up for a trx450r which i have been looking to buy anyway.

let me know what you think!

btw if i did this my wheels, tires and lift that ive only had for about two months would be up for sale... state your claim if you want them

Bike I'm selling if anybody interested

obviously you have not seen transworlds kick-start, Tarah Gieger said quad racers are like the body boarders of the water. So you cannot sell your bike, and most certainly you cannot sell your bike and buy a quad. :)

Well it all depends on which one you want more. I sold my 125 to mod my S-10, and I had to sell my YZ250f to make my truck payments haha. but if you are the type that rides everyday for 4hrs and have withdrawls when you arent riding then dont do it, just save up. But if you only ride your bike once in a while then go for it. Also, no on the metal mulisha rims. That will put you into bro status

i havent been able to ride my bike since i went up to blue diamond 5 months ago... during the summer i ride all the time but have been thinking of getting a quad for awhile now. This just seems like a way to get a 6" lift which i really want soon and having a quad by summer when i will really start riding. They have insane deals at a shop near me so i could just finance like a 07 tr400ex that hasnt been ridden. It will be hard getting rid of my bike because i bought it when i was 13 for $7,000 and just finished paying it off a couple months ago.

You're not really losing out on anything really. I know you've had your share with the bike but since you're planning on getting a quad by the summer then do it. Sell the bike now to get the lift since you're getting a quad (new toy) for summer.

You'll have a lift and a new toy by summer! Wow!
