sensivity of the horn

    it seems like the horn is really sensitive and with just rest my hand on the middle of the steering wheel it honks

    i feel really stupid when it happens ha does this happen to anyone else?

    Actually, my own experience is just the opposite. I've had my Taco since March and apparently don't use the horn much because I don't believe I ever had even tried nor heard it prior to this weekend when some idiot tried to drift into my lane. Hand hard on the horn as I attemted to avoid imminent death and......zip, zilch, nada, bupkis. No sound. No horn. I wondered if maybe it was triggering a silent alarm in other motorists vehicles. I guess it's either too much, or not enough.....

    haha kinda wish i had ur problem like sometimes when turned ill put my hand in the center and like it honks and im like fuck i feel stupid the person infront is looking at me like hey whats up why r u honkin haha

    i dont have a wife but i've had plenty of people do that and i hate it. my favorite thing to do is when you are driving by someone, and the idiot in your passenger seat rolls down his window and yells something. my favorite thing to do when that happens is to lock the window in the down position, come to a complete stop, and tell the passenger that i'm not going anywhere till they appologize. they dont do it a second time
