September Meet up / Trail run

Aloha everybody. so we had a pretty good turn out this past month at our Hollister hills run so we wanted to try to organize another trail run for late next month. Creating this poll to decide where to go.

Feel free to also leave a comment on other good options, but try to keep in mind two things:
1) this will be a single day trip so nothing too far from the SF Bay Area (around 2-3 hours one way would be ideal)
2) a lot of our trucks are stock / mild build and a lot of us (including myself) are pretty new to off-roading... so easy - moderate trails , nothing too crazy!

When: TBD weekend in October (single day trip - leave early morning, be back home for dinner)

I went to frank raines last two weeks ago, sadly they are close until 2nd week of October due to fire hazard thats the park ranger telling me.

 

last min. but tmrw me and 3 other rigs are doing signal peak. pm if interested. 7 am meet at chevron in rocklin across from bass pro shop.exit is sierra college blvd

 

Unfortunately I'm out now unless we could do it the weekend before. Already have plans for that weekend that I forgot about.

 

Crap, I'll be camping that weekend @justin808 . Won't be able to join but hopefully next time. If plan do fail, I'm down ;-)

 

thinking about adjusting the date so more people can make it. How does the following weekend of Oct 7 or 8 work for all?

 

Prarie City is almost like a ....2-3 hour thing then you will have done everything at the park. Lots of great stuff towards truckee, tahoe, sly park.

 

sly park seems like a good option, is it something a stock tacoma could do?
