    pull the battery, alternator, radiator fan and shroud. I left the radiator in. It helped - gave a bit more room and more visual line of sight on what you are trying to do.

    Didn’t think about the alternator. Thanks for the tip. I saw a couple of videos on YouTube. The radiator looks easy to remove. I would also remove the front grill. That seems pretty simple as well. With both the radiator and grill removed along with the shroud and fan, I think I would have quite a remarkable area to work with. I can’t believe there are 11 hoses associated with the cooling system. Going to replace all of them as well. With the amount of work I’m anticipating, I don’t want to worry about this until the next 100K miles.
