Well I finaly went wheeling the other weekend and got the tires on some dirt. Got to ride about 30 min then noticed that the AC was not blowing cool anymore. Looked up and the trans temp was at 225 and the engine temp guage started climbing. I shut it off before any high heat lights came on but just by a little bit. Turned the key to Acc. after a minute and the lights we on. The radiator over flow tank was boiling.

The problem was the gasket around the Flex-A-Lite fan got sucked into the fan blades, broke 2 blades and locked everything up after they rubbed circles in the radiator.

Now I have the Fan and Radiator back in service and wondering what all I should do. Would it be a good idea to change the engine oil and cooling fluid? What about the Auto Trans Fluid? Is there anything I should look for not fluid related?

Everything seems fine but not sure if there might be any hidden issues. Thanks in advance.

If you have non-synthethic in Auto tranny then I would replace that. The rest should be fine.
