Well I purchased the billys and AAL for Christmas and am just waiting to get the cash so i can install everything. thought i had my mind made up about setting the billys at 1.75, but now im second guessing myself after looking at pics of the 1.75 setting. Basicaly I want to be able to tell its lifted, and Im afraid now that 1.75" wont really be that noticable. But if i set it at 2.5 im afraid my tires will look too small. So i wanna know what yall think. And im sorry if this has been asked before, but I just wanted to do my own thread. Set Bilsteins at 1.75 or 2.5 with stock size 265/65/17 tires and 1.5" AAL?

    sparkles, fairys, and happy things.
well its whatever you want it to look like.
I agree setting them at 1.75 wont make it look like to much of a difference, and going 2.5 with stock rubbers, might make the tires look small.

Just do 2.5 then realize you need new UCA then install them and then get bigger tires and then get new springs and then all will be well!!!

Haha I wish it was that easy. I've got another 20,000 miles to put on these tires before I can justify replacing them. I don't have money to blow like that

you will regret it if you dont, trust me. and its a fairly expensive regret because you have to get another alignment

I had my stock tires with 5100's at 1.75" and 1.5" aal and the tires looked puny as hell. Just upgrade your tires asap, either setting will make you happy.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
I say set it 2.5 and get bigger tires later. After I lifted my truck it really didn't look lifted until I bought my tires. And I have 3 1/4" of lift.

Set them at 2.5 because one day your going to want them there. I set mine on 1.75 but I have no lift on the back. Only reason I don't have a lift on the back is cause I know I have to tear my struts apart to keep it level... Save the extra work and do it while its apart.
