    Hello all,

I am new to this site and so far its been really helpfull. I have had three tacomas and I just purchased a 2007 4x4 4dr tacoma. Recently I changed the oil and before I knew how to reset the maint reqd I found this SET BUTTON. It is located under the steering wheel next to the hood release latch, on the right side. Does anyone know what this is and what it does?

Not to be a smart ass but it is far easier to look it up in your owners manual than to type out the page for you here.:)

It's the TPMS(tire pressure monitor system) reset. When a tire pressure is low it will light 'steady' identifying an under/over inflated tire. Check all tires(incl spare) and add or remove air from tire(s). Pushing set bottom will extinguish light. However, if the light is 'blinking' this identifies a TPMS malfunction and you will need to take it to the dealer.
