Setting Up Ubuntu Server???

    You need to configure Samba on your 'bubuntu' server and export a 'share'.

    I suggest installing 'samba-swat', this will give you a web browser to configure samba.

    Once youre share is configured, that you've created a user for your wife and enabled that user for samba. Simply open up an explorer window on her XP and point it to:
    \\<ip.address.of.bubuntu>\name_of_the_share

    Don't forget to open up the firewall port (iptables) on your bubuntu.

    You should be able to find howtos on all of these on the bubuntu forums.

    I got the software installed, but life otherwise has been pretty busy and I haven't been able to run through the configuration process.
