    Hi
I work(Engineer) at one of the 2 north american toyota plants that make engines and transmissions, included the Tundra and Tacoma trannys.
    Year ago I bought a 2005 Taco SR5 V6 TRD.
I like it but it has problems.
There is clanging under truck when idle. has a hum running in gear, no hum in park, it sounds like a torque converter issue?
Steers like a mule, and those BF Goodrich sound like a freight train.
Someone bust out the drivers side window and took the Alpine blue tooth stereo.
I know how to machine them, but lost fixing them any help and sorry to unload on 1st post.

Sold my 05 in Nov but when it was for sale had rattle at idle
Turned out to be bolts on drivers side catalytic converter rusted out
Went to Home Depot bought some replacements
Mine would only do it while in drive foot on brake

    Good luck
