Does anyone happen to have a blueprint so to say of the rear shackle hanger dimensions and angles Or anyone willing to measure there trucks rear shackle hanger

I am looking for a measurement from bottom of frame to lowest part of the shackel hanger marked in red on the picture below.

Also am looking for the angle of the shackle hanger measured from the bottom most point of the shackle hanger My measured mine by zeroing out angle finder to the ground and then measured off that.

Am trying to figure out what is bent the frame or the hanger and which one is not.

MY truck is a 2012 Tacoma trd offroad

Don't have an answer for you. But I can tell you this bolt is backwards, and is likely rubbing the inside of the shackle.

I have a 2010 access cab. Mine measures roughly 7.25. If you can explain the angle you’re looking for a bit more I’ll check mine.

I have a digital angle finder small lottle square one Not really sure how accurate this is but I zeroed it on the concrete first to then moved it up to the bottom of the shackle hanger ( Blue line in pic) for my angle if that makes since.

Thanks for measuring it for me my driver side is 6 3/4. And passenger was 7” both approx numbers so Im thinking my driver side one is bent…. But angle should tell me in which direction its bent..

Post a pic showing the inside of that frame rail.

I bent my frame at that location a while back; it's easy to do.

Measured mine as you described (both the fwd and aft flange on the lh shackle and rh shackle) and get 1.5 - 1.8 degrees depending on the location. Measuring to that formed flange so seems there would be some variance though mine are all pretty close.

    Hanger definitely looks bent upwards.

That bolt may not be showing signs yet but it will, you need to correct that. I have seen a factory hanger cut itself in half on the trail due to installation of the bolt lile that.

If you aren't already aware I strongly recommend you look into Archive Garage Hammer Hangers, they're a replacement for the factory chinsy shite and well well worth the money.

I regret not getting them years ago.

Here is mine. This is from the spare tire area looking at the passenger side frame rail.

Notice how the frame is bent down where the shackle hanger attaches.

OP I assume the hangers would bent before the frame since they seem like more of the first week point. And that is cheaper to rule out and replace than a whole frame

Is it worth getting them ahead of time?
Only asking because of the price. But I’m sure the quality is up there

Took a look at my hangers and they don’t seem bent after a few wheeling trips. Didn’t go crazy. But then again I saw a video of someone also not going crazy on the trail yet despite that still bent one.

just hard to justify $1k to “fix something that isn’t broken”

$1k? That doesn't seem right, for just the AGHH's it should be closer to $500-600

And definitely worth it, the on road manners were completely transformed, truck feels more planted, solid, responsive and has less vibration and axle wrap.

It makes more difference on a heavy truck but honestly they should come factory.

priced it out Hangers, their upgraded shackles for SOA/stock, + their high clearance crossbrace
Already got my spare out from under there anyway
I hear the brace really helps with feel.
Not sure how important it is to get their Hi Clr one, vs. weld a straight tube accross
but yeah with all those 3 it came out to around $1k

BAMF and DRT have their own version but idk about those...

Ah yeah with all the accoutrement for sure.

I have the V3's, 3.6" Fab Shacks, and High clear tube on my rig and don't regret any of it at all.

The HH's are mandatory in my mind, the rest I feel is optional unless you're wheeling hard or just want the most stable on road feel possible.

The high clear and straight tube offer exactly the same experience say for the high clear is high clearance, less likely to catch and anchor off road.

I have the shock tower relocation and lower weld on axle mounts from AG too but am waiting for a few more parts before pulling the bed burning those on and doing other stuff in the area.
