so i just debadged my taco and it looks nice and clean shaved:D... i also repainted them black and havent put them on yet... should i keep it shaved or put them back on... i saw people use the 3m double sided tape to rebadge it so i bought it but i put it behind the v6 and tried to cut it and it was nearly impossible... plzz tell me what to do:confused:

Put them back on black. It's a PITA to get the tape right, but once you do it's worth it.

Here's what mine looked like before putting them back on the truck

I'm thinking about debadging and painting them white too. Curious to see how it would look black on silver with black flares...

Edit: I meant painting them black...

I like the clean. If people don't know it's a Taco by now, then why do you care to educate them?

I did the exact same thing. Spent an hour or so getting them all nice and painted. Decided to leave the truck shaved, on my SW truck. I like the shaved look, easier to clean and wax as well.

Put my emblems on my tool box.

I think black badges look sweet on the white Tacomas, but I'm kinda biased :D [IMG]

You could always replace them with decals instead?

Ive got a magnetic gray taco and I stripped the badges off, painted them black, but decided to only put the door badges back on. I like clean, bare tailgate and the fact that my black door badges match with my black wheel/tire setup.

I only have the Toyota and the Tacoma badge on my tailgate (blacked out), I just received a 4wd badge so I'm going to get it powder coated and add it.. don't care much for the V6 part.. or the SR5
