I've had my Taco for about 6 weeks and love it but, today I noticed I can shift the shifter with the truck off. So either the solenoid is stuck open or the lock broke. Has anyone else experienced this?

If it was a manual thats one thing, but an auto definately should not do that. I would take it up to the dealer right away. When your truck is on, can you shift without having your foot on the brake. In my truck, my foot has to be pressing on the brake for me to even be able to move the stick to the right to get it out of park.
