Quick question guy, I've been having a lot of trouble getting into gear ever since I put on my short throw. Has anyone else had this problem? or it is a result of something else that I can not think of? Any ideas or suggestions would be great before I take it in to Toyota and have them figure it out.

    Lots baby!
I have installed several of these. Putting it into reverse takes more effort.

If you have a shift ball, you can "slap" it into reverse. It takes a little practice, but it will become easy once you the rythym down.

I just recently bought the URD ss from my friend and we both installed it a few weeks ago. What a difference in the throw! Although after installing it, I noticed a big vibration coming from the tranny (while in reverse). So we took everything apart again and noticed that one of the bolts that goes from the shifter to the tranny was rubbing against the steel body work. So a quick little trim with some shears fixed that up nicely. To date, I haven't had any problems with getting it into reverse.

^ This. It does take more effort. My wife had to use both hands to pull it into reverse.
