    FYI there seems to be some confusion about what trails are closed and open and when. If you go to the USDA Forest Service site (Here) and download the Motor Vehicle Use map. You can find all the trails, what type of vehicles are permitted and any seasonal closures...

    Much better than spreading rumors causing people to be too afraid of hitting the trails for fear of finding a locked gate...but it does take 10 minutes and minimal effort.

    You could also call the distric office and ask.

    I just updated all the trail heads on my topo software and they are ready to load into my GPS. looks like there will be a lot of trails around Big Levels to hit.
