So, do shop biuilds count on here as well? If so, I'll start posting pics of my garage that I am modeling/remodeling. All sorts of stuff going on there. Then I'll post pics of the Wifes 2010 Scion that I am also going to start working on. She said that if I am going to do stuff to the truck, I have to get her ride looking good too. :stirthepot:

Here are a few shots of what I have done & am working on in the garage & a shot of the Wifes car which is going to be another build & of course had to squeeze in a couple of pics of my Baby's. Pretty much adding air lines around the gaage for the compressor. 3/4" copper around the perimeter of the ceiling with drops here at there. Shortly I'll be hanging steel peg board & a surface mount drop ceiling to conceal the copper pipe.

Here is my garage at my previous house. I will be doing the flooring and some 'mods' to my new garage in the next few weeks so I'll try to snap some pics of the progress.

    Cool thread!

Nice garage. I have been telling the wife I need a urnial in the garage. She doesn't seem to be going for it. She said I would never come in the house if I had one. LOL

Sneak peak of the compressor shelf I built for the corner of the garage. Need to do a couple things to it then put the compressor up on it.

I already have a power reel on the ceiling. It's yellow & black. I dropped in all sorts of outlets a while back & have one behind next to the spraybooth/fridge. I converted an old (FREE) fridge to a spray booth. I gutted the motor & everything else & put some filtered exhaust fans in the back & some hanging rods inside. The freezer freezer portion is a cooling booth that I cut in a filtered intake & exhaust fan for cooling the parts. BTW, it's for small parts that I powder coat. That was one of the main reasons for the air compressor lines with a drop right next to the spray booth.

I left the plastic walls & back with the insulation. The doors I reskined with aluminum inside but left the insulation. The shelves were getting in the way.

I'll take some pics of the spray booth when I remember to & post them. After I complete the garage, I might build my own curing oven & a bigger spray booth.

So, I have been putting some more $ in to the garage & a lot of time. It's coming along. I still have more organizing to do. It's still a work in progress though.
Steel peg board & a shelf next to the compressor
    [IMG]
Just picked up a 2nd work bench to match the other one & got some steel peg board above the 1st one.
Shot of the steel peg board

From the other end of the garage
    [IMG]
Still have the ceiling & the floor to do, but it's all coming together. Once I finish the garage I can really concentrate on putting some $ in to the truck.

The steel peg board came from Sears. Other places have it too.

Thanks wiley, it's definitely coming along. Still have other things to do in the garage, but it's kind of on hold for a bit till I get the shed organized so I can clear out a bit of stuff from the garage, then I'll get back in to it & maybe even get back in to doing a little bit of the powder coating of small parts. That's what got me started on the whole garage build in the first place. It's now been about 9 months since I have shot any powder. Funny how it all worked out.

Looks like you've got some money in those copper air lines!

Yes, there is quite a bit of $ tied up in the copper, but the completion of the project will make it worth it.
