I like them both, I guess depends on what you are doing with your truck.

I think the long looks better but who cares about looks. Longer bed = more utility.

If I were working the truck everyday hauling stuff I would definately go with the long bed but for everyday stuff the short bed is what I prefer, easier parking, fits in the garage, wife can drive easier and if I need to haul something that wont fit...well its another excuse that I need to own a trailer! :bananadance:

My bike doens't fit good in a short box- and with the Tacomas turning radius- I can get the whole truck into anywhere I want to.

    Long Box FTW!!!

If your voting is strictly on looks...Short bed! Functionality...Long bed. Why did I choose the short bed then, you ask? Looks!!!

Being as I already have a truck with an 8' bed, I chose the short box for the Tacoma. Only thing it needs to haul is my cooler, and spare tire for my boat trailer. :)

I wanted a short bed, but they happened to have a long bed at the dealer so I got that... and I don't regret it one bit. Now I think it looks much more proportional than a SB, and like BrunesDoesTRD said, the turning radius makes maneuvering easy. It's also a little less common (on a DC).
