Unfortunately, here in Canada....Doublecab V6 Automatic TRD sport - Longbox only. I would like a full load doublecab shortbox but you can only get it in the 6 spd.

I am in the longbed camp...I think they look better and I can't fit my bike in a short bed. Having said that, the shortbed does drive like a much shorter vehicle. ;) It corners sharper and just feels more nimble.

Short bed looks better with the double cab. I have the short bed and when I need to carry sheet rock or full size plywood I use a few 2x4's that I made up to fit in the back, I also added a support to rest on the tailgate. There no point in having a long bed if your only going to use it a few times a year.

I like the nimbleness in the concrete jungle. :D Nice when navigating trails mostly used by ATVs too.

I like the utility of my long bed. I can carry a motorcycle or quad with the tailgate closed.

I like the the look of the long bed on the Access Cab (only way it comes anyway) and I prefer the shortbox on the Double Cab 4 door. But the long box is a good size bed. I wish it was a bit wider inside the wheel wells.

I love the long bed, but as the posts state, they are a little more tricky to park at first. No worries now, but my wife still has to take a few turns to park it correctly. Test drive both first before buying one. My 83 toyota has a 7 foot bed....

Short bed. Shorter wheel base = more maneuverable on the trails.

    It's the wife's T4R so it's stock
Short bed -- I've wanted a long bed every now and again -- usually when I'm loading stuff in the truck when the wife and I head out of town...

but the short bed looks better IMHO.

    ^actually, i do!

but i must say, the taco does it better!

but i think I'll take a long bed DC.

i thought about it long and hard, and my type of wheeling isnt on technical rocky trails. its (fast) on abandoned fire roads (and the like)

so driving a small boat isnt that big a worry,

    plus. length=stability at speed.

but i have neither now and would gladly accept either!

Long box. It's not hard to park. Back it in you sissies. I see civics that have to pull the Austin powers turn to pull into a park spot that I could put my truck into sideways.

Backing in is the only way to park. But I've had that bred into me from working the patch.
