    Long Bed.

Actually went in to get a short bed, but they only had one at the time. Neither one of us liked the color. My wife liked the looks of the long bed better, and they had it in the super white (which I wanted for long term upkeep). Decision made!

I never thought I'd need the long bed, but after 5+ years I would have regretted getting the short bed more times than I can count (even with a calculator:D).

Long box does great for me, and is easier to maneuver that I thought it would be.

Short box looks very stupid imo and it's less functional so what's the point?

This really annoys me because I was thinking about upgrading to a double cab...but manual trans is a must for me, and the dbl cab long box only comes in auto.

Define functional. A shorter wheelbase is more functional for navigating tight off road trails. If that's your thing, it would be stupid to get a longer vehicle that's going to make it more difficult or result in more body damage.

I do hauling , camping , out door manley Canadian things. A long box is the only way to go , Short box kinda looks like a truck that is all about looks and no function. But .. if i was doing all off roading like some of the rock trails some of ya guys hit up , the SB would def be a better choice , just looks like it would be more nible for rock climbing

I really wanted a long box but had to settle for the shorty. I needed a DC more than the access cab but couldn't get a 6 speed manual with a DC LB. My preference for the tranny won out and guess i'll have to make do with the 5 feet.

Truck looks more proportional with the long box. Not to mention more practical.

Although maybe not as functional, I think short looks WAY better.

On the flip side, you could probably say the long bed DC looks like there should be a tugboat behind it.

No short train here, Gotta go with the looooooong train....she rides sooooo smooth with the long wheelbase. No thumpty bumpty on a long road trip. I also like the way it proportions the trucks now full size appearance. "The mans model" hahaha! just pokin fun.

    JMHO....to each his own.

I have a shortbed, but prefer the looks of a longbed.

But, no regrets. It's what I asked for.

The one reason I got a long bed over a short bed was I knew I was gong to put a truck box in the back. If I got the shortbed, the truck box itself is 1 foot long, so that would of left me with 4' of space, not enough to do anything I need, so I went with a long bed knowing the truck box was gong to take up some of the bed space. Just my 2 cents on why I got the long bed.
