Didn't set out to get a LB but took one home. :D Still getting used to the size of the truck. Last car was a WRX.

The truck can just barely fit it in my garage. I have to back in since the rear 40" or so of the garage floor is bumped up 3". When the rear wheel touches the curb I have 3" from the rear bumper to the wall. With the door closed I have 5" in front. If I pulled in going forward I couldn't close the garage door. Also have to turn the truck 90deg in my driveway to get in the garage. But I find it easier to get the truck turned tightly going in reverse for some reason.

i could park one. i have parked a big F-350 dc that had like an 8 foot bed. but down town their is a small garage i park in some and i had to make a 5 point turn in the 1st gen tundra thats just extended cab. DCLB is longer.

i much rather tow ATV’S i’b had them in back of tundra. but much rather tow. and we never have one at a time so.. we can get 3 side ways or 1 rhino pulled on from the back and 1 atv side ways.

.. Why not? There are still short beds and long beds being made to this date in case you didn't know.

DC LB for sure...I wish my bed was an extra 6in longer and the cab extra 6in longer then it would be perfect :)

long bed looks better. the 5 foot box is a nice size, but in those rare cases, the extra foot is nice.

Didn't vote, it depends on the cab. Regular and Access cabs look better with long beds (but aren't all ACs long beds?). Double cabs look awkward no matter what bed is on them.

funny difference in opinion, I think the regular and access cabs look weird. 1st gen tacos access cab, 2nd gen tacos almost have to be double cab in my eyes. :D It just looks like the 2nd gen was designed for a double cab and the 1st gen the double cab was an obvious after thought. I wouldn't have bought a tacoma if 2nd gen if they didn't offer a double cab. Just looks right to me, but then again I know 10 people with 2nd gen tacomas and all of them are double cabs.

The long beds make the double cab look like a real truck and not an explore sport-trac or something in my book.

I like the DC-LB ... but the DC-SB is so much easier to park in a tight parking deck.

My favorite Taco would be a RC-SB with a 4.6L and a S/C bolted to that puppy ..... :burnrubber:
