Own a SB and it does what I need it to. The LB is obviously more practical in some aspects and does appeal more because it's more proportional. The SB is better suited for off-road over the LB but a single cab is better suited than a SB or LB in that aspect. It's all personal preference in my opinion and to each their own on what they buy.

Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
Long bed. i gave the short bed a try..

    Just too small for me.

Short bed works fine for me. I wanted a manual transmission double cab so I had no choice on the bed length and had I been given a choice I might have chosen the long bed for the practicality. That being said I am happy with the SB and to be honest the SB is the best looking too!!

It's ok, you can always trade in for a LB in the future. ;)

X2. If dealer/someone would actually trade a LB for a Frodo Wagon.

Can it really be a longbed if it's not at least eight feet? I think the choice is between "regular" and "short". If I could've, I would have gotten one with an 8' bed, but it'll probably be extended with a tire-carrier/bumper someday anyway.

Yes. An 8 foot bed would look stupid. :)

That and the wheelbase would be measured with yard lines.

Old toyota long beds are 7'3" btw

I gues the 8 foot bed would be DCSLB

That's because a mod has a SB and fixed the results. Every time someone votes for an SB it gets 10 votes.

Lol. If they could even do that. I'm surprised the short bed isn't higher. I see about 7 short beds for every 1 long bed around here. I like both of them, but I prefer a short bed.

    Neither.
Access cabs look better, and they only have one bed length.
