TDS is this weekend but some of us want to hit Anza in general.

Let's meet in Julian (from there it's about 30 until we're in Anza territory) at the library. There's a gas station next to it but it's probably smarter to fill up earlier when you're off the 15 (might be cheaper) and then just top off at the gas station nearby the library.

    Day: Saturday (March 3rd)
Meet: Julian library (1850 CA-78, Julian, CA 92036)

We'll be hitting trails in Anza in both the North and South areas but starting up top.

We'll start with either one but it would be awesome to do Lower Coyote Canyon (Northwest corner of Anza) and/or Calcite Mine (Northeast corner near Truckhaven & TDS event).

If we finish either or both early, we could explore more of Ocotillo or take some pictures around the statues of Borrego Springs.

Around the middle of the run, we'll head South of the 78 toward Split Mountain, enter on Fish Creek wash, take a break near the wind caves, continue down the wash and do Sandstone Canyon (it's an out and back wash with a few obstacles to go over).

Before the next part, we could optionally do Broken Shaft Gulch if the other rigs are feeling lucky.

To end the day, we'll go up Diablo drop-off, Northwest on Arroyo Seco Del Diablo, Southeast on Arroyo Tapiado (mud caves if people want to break for a few minutes), Southeast on Vallecito Creek, and then South on Canyon Sin Nombre.

We'll be ending the day near the 8 and exit that way to the West. There's a gas station at the end but it's usually very pricey. If you have enough gas to dive down the 8 ~30 miles, gas is cheaper once we're in the city.
