OK..So the past few years ive used a hang on stand...its comfortable for the first hour..maybe. I dunno if my legs are to short or what, but after sitting for so long, my right hip always cramps up..It will get worse and worse untill I have to stand up and relax it. its one of those off the wall brand stands Cabelas used to carry..I cant even remember the name of it right now. Anyways, guess what im trying to get at is, is does anyone know of a stand that is short between the seat and platform?

My gf bought me a brand new summit climber about 2 years ago, that I have yet to use either..just so damn hard to find a semi straight tree in the pines.
I also got one of those gorilla tree seats, also comfortable, but I dont wanna use that all the time espically since where i hunt is wet..

I have a stand I got from dicks for $30 after hunting season sale. It isn't short but the seat is very very nice (not very comfy on your butt, but it is very thick rigid foam that keeps my legs, ass and back from cramping) and its constructed very well.

well i need to to be shorter..I think what happens, is my legs arent letting my feet rest right on the platform, so its throwing everything out of wack. Iunno..September is comming fast:rolleyes:

Ya, I found out a lot of my discomfort was from not having any back support. My dad got a ladder stand for a retirement gift. I spent a morning in it and it was so comfy i had to fight to stay awake haha
