Long bed if you are going to carry long stuff, sleep in the bed. Short bed is easier on trails and driving around the city.

    Agreed 100%!!!

Determine your needs and aesthetically how you want it to look. My personal opinion is the short box makes the truck almost look cartoonish, as the front and rear look symmetrical in length and height. If you're going to put on a RTT, the long bed will accommodate more options and cargo and give you more versatility overall. The downside is a longer turning radius and break over if you're going to be off-roading. You'll also be saving some on vehicle weight. Determine what you're going to be doing with it and how it will be used, then make a decision. Peruse the different picture threads and look at others set ups. I originally was going to get a SB until I started perusing the various threads and looking around on TW.

Long bed. I’d say a solid 8/10 people I’ve talked to with short beds regret it. I’ve found it to be super useful, and contrary to popular belief, it’s not a train so parking/maneuvering isn’t difficult whatsoever.

The access cab offers the best of both worlds: short wheel base and long bed.

Super hard to find though, I could only find one when I was looking and it had way to many miles.
