Yeah I am glad yours came in good, mine came in terrible. However, since bluetooth I never use it anyway, yet I still went back to OEM. I really do want a shorty one for when I do choose to listen to the radio though...

Just bought a Tacoma and I found the little antenna in the glovebox. It looks like I need an adapter to put it on. Where can I find this?

I have a 12" or 13" (can't remember) that I got at my local auto parts store. I think it's fiberglass though and I get great reception in the Boston Metro area as well as surrounding suburbs.

I have the antennax one, but the adapter screw is completely rusted. Id use a rust protection spray on the silver screw adapter before i install it. Reception is slightly worse than stock, but i don't notice it when I'm in the city.

x3 for Cravenspeed, no reception issues thus far - been in the middle of the city and out in the middle of nowhere. I keep my stock one kicking around in the rear cargo hold just in case

Just got a CravenSpeed in the ail yesterday and lost all the stations except for one FM station here in Hawaii. I can't even get an AM station in the heart of downtown. Kinda disappointed as I love the look and size of this stubby.
