So I have a 2018 TRD OR (Inferno) with 31500 miles on it. Local dealer has a 2019 “new” TRD Pro (white) they need to move. I’ve been offered $32k in trade for my OR AND they have dropped the price of the Pro to $41K from $48K.

not hot on the snorkel but ...

    should I???

Ask yourself why you really want the Pro? What is it about the Pro you need?

Every dealer will tell you they need to move vehicles.

Is 41K even a good deal on a pro? Think I saw a 2021 Pro listed for 43k at my dealers website.

But also, why? Is something wrong with the 2018?

No I wouldn’t sounds like a bad money move. The snorkel will drive you insane later down the road if it bothers you now.

If they really need to move it.. the price would be under $40k.. it's a trap.. they're gonna make more money off of you so you need to decide if you are ok with that or not.

    And White is boring

you can make your current rig much better than a pro for that price differential
but if you have color regret, that would be the only reason. makes sense as most loud colors lose their flare

If you had money to burn, sure go ahead. But if you are a normal working Joe like most of us here, no.

Is it used? No, that’s a terrible deal. Is it new? No, that’s a terrible deal.

The marketing is getting you, please slow down.

My vote, but I might be a touch bit biased. Honestly the one thing I DID NOT want was the Desert Air Intake, however this one I bought the last day of April because the dealer had trouble selling it because of the Desert Air Intake (not a Desert in sight here in Arkansas). He said a ton of people looked at it because they thought it was sealed and was an actual snorkel. 2019 TRD Pro Ugly Duckling was totally worth it. If I already had a 2018 Tacoma honestly I would just pay it off and not trade, but I was driving a 98 Chevy with 233.700 miles that needed a new motor so my choice was easy.
