Someone nearby is selling a new heavy duty sway bar, I have a stock suspension, but want a 2in lift at some point. Is this worth jumping on now? Or is a thicker sway bar not really necessary over the stock one?

Light / medium off-road use in the future, nothing too hardcore.

Most people around here are ditching that swaybar thingy. Plenty of better ways to throw money away around this site.

The stock sway bar is plenty thick enough. The end links and bushings are the critical points.

Save you money. If you plan off wheeling your truck even just a little, you will be removing it sooner than later. I was one of those guys who thought it was stupid til I removed mine. Best free mod in my opinion

Thank you for the all the information guys! I'll pass on this, and do more research into the pros / cons of removing factory sway bar for off-road use.
